The repaint request thread

Post by Piper_EEWL »

Hi guys,

I thought I might start a repaint request thread here for the T-6 since requesting them is as far as my talent goes with repaints

Here's one I really like:

Check out the website of "Miss Goosebay" here for some more information:

http://www.missgoosebay.de/index.html

The website is in german but it contains more images of the beautiful paintjob!

I'm sure we'll see some really nice repaints for the "Six". Thanks to all the talented repainters out there in advance!

Happy flying everyone!

AT-6/SNJ Repaint request

Post by Tailspin45 »

Repaint request/prayer/supplication/grovel for N7055K, in Marine SNJ-4 garb (but really an AT-6C). Lots of images online and I have oodles more. Happy to provide details to help, along with your favorite libation.

Would love to see SNJ-5 F-AZRB:

I have a bit of history with the plane, with around 5 hours flying it from the backseat:

I second that request. I had a flight in that SNJ when we visited our son stationed in San Diego.

Can anyone id this plane? I'd like to look for more photos and line her up in the paint shop.
According to the photographer, it is "T6 texan world war 2 trainer now residing at Cavanaugh flight Museum Addison TX"

This is the T-6 that is at the museum I worked at that currently holds Bob Hoover's Ole Yeller. Always wanted to ride in this plane but never had the chance. I did get to polish the canopy inside and out though! Anyways I would greatly appreciate a repaint of this beautiful plane. Pics in the link above

What an awesome aircraft this is! Thanks so much to the a2a team for this! If anyone could do this repaint it would be so much appreciated. This was the very first harvard i had a ride in at classic flyers in tauranga thanks to Andrew Gormlie.

Did you fly from Montgomery Field or Palomar Airport? If it was the latter, we may have flown together, although we had a number of pilots that flew the SNJ.

Several are simmers, so I know they're potential customer for this A2A masterpiece* and repaint.

* Only .9 hours, a few rolls, a couple stalls, and 3 full stops (so I am legal), but so far my only complaint is it isn't loud enough.

I'll just pretend A2A included a David Clark noise canceling headset, and it's just right, if not as visceral.

Is this plane based in either of those airports? It would be rad if it is. I'm 5 minutes from Palomar and 30 from Montgomery.

I'm down to paint this as soon as I get the kit.

Hey, I have to request the Texan I flew in as a teenager which started my whole passion for warbirds. Long ago Mike 'blackhawks' painted me a fictional A2A P-40 in the same scheme which I've loved... Now it could be a reality!

And the real one, with me in the back!

Many thanks in advance!
