Hi Ron,

I can confirm that's the sticker and it's on both sides.

Hi Ron,

I guess you've sorted out the other sticker but it looks like this:

and it's on both sides.

My pleasure.

I do have lots more shots of this machine. If anyone needs any, please PM me for my e-mail address.

It has 'North American SNJ-5 42-85897' under the tail.

On the starboard side it has 'SNJ-5 42-85897 North American'

Regards,

Howard

I have just uploaded an image of the starboard side to Flickr. If you go to the site you can get a much bigger version than the one below. Hope that helps!

Thanks.....I think this is the first R/H side I've seen. I did a search on Airliners.net for the Buno# and they have a good selection of photo's also......but I think this is the first starboard side picture I've seen.

I'm hoping Ron or one of the other VERY talented folks will pick this one up. (hint...hint....hint.....) My dabbling just would not do it justice!!

Cheers!

Hi Ron,

Glad you're getting on with it but actually the badge on N6972C is a bit of both! (No white background but as per the image I posted, but text as per yours.) Here's a close-up of it taken last weekend:

That is exactly the one I've used. I just couldn't remember where I got it.

I'd love to see N6253C recreated! Plenty of pics available by searching the N number.

This is the only picture I've found with the new red and blue stripes on the tail though. It would look nice in the sim with a good, flat, bare-metal job though!

I finally remembered to snap some detail shots of this T6 at the hangar yesterday for anyone who may be interested in doing this one. Not a whole lot too it, and it is actually grey paint rather than bare metal.

I think that covers most of her angles. While it doesn't have any nose-art, she goes by "Farmers Daughter" and may have nose-art added someday. Like I said before, operated by the CAF B29/B24 Squadron travelling the country to support tour and air show stops with the bombers by giving rides. Rides are available in this (and the Stearman behind it) at Appleton, WI during the week of Oshkosh this year.

Thanks!

Hi all,

I'm a member of the usvaf (united states virtual air force) Vintage Air Command.
I would like to start a training wing for those members who own the A2A T-6, and want to use the yellow version.
To make it more personal, I'm searching for a repaint artist who can modify (texture) a yellow T-6 specific for the usvaf.
I'm willing to pay for the repaint job, for those who are interested in this ''job'' please shoot me a p.m. and I send you a example of what I'm looking for

Thanks

Ferry
