It's Back - The Tour of Great Britain

Post by Bruce66 »

After some changes and adjustments I'm back on the Tour from where I spread myself on the tarmac like butter!

New used plane and now live streamed (no scheduled for live streaming yet - if I can sort one I will post it somewhere...)

This flight is Prestwick to Tiree with several stops on the way:

Enjoy! :D

Thanks Rob!

Yes, I sat on my dilemma for quite some time - since I could no longer upload edited videos it was streaming only, so do I fly the flights like I used to and just stream the whole thing or try to break them down into shorter flights....

I ended up flying the whole thing and streamed it. I like to do lots of take offs and landings if I can at various airports for the practice.

The viewers can always split it up - or not.....

At least there is no crash this time!

I have good memories of this plane from FSX and I picked it up a couple of days ago for P3D almost entirely because of Bruce's video tour :) Stumbled across this topic while I was trying to find out why I haven't managed to land it in P3D yet without ground looping (I think I'm dropping the tailwheel down too soon) and thought I'd mention that. Cheers Bruce !

G.

[edit - definitely the way I'm landing, it's hard to wrap my head around balancing the plane on it's main gear while it slows down, and I also have to learn to push my rudder pedals without applying brakes, but on the last landing I slowed down enough before the tail won that I only spun 180 degrees instead of my usual 360  ]
