T6 Fuel flow for flight planning
T6 Fuel flow for flight planning
What should I flight plan my fuel burn at when flight planning? I got 2 cruise power settings I'm going to use 26/1900 and 24/1850
Re: T6 Fuel flow for flight planning
Everyone I knew always used 25"/1750 as a standard cruise power setting. I still do that and it will work out to 30 gph with normal leaning procedures. It's a conservative number, as you'll do somewhat better depending on cruise altitude and it's easy for mental math planning purposes at two minutes per gallon.

Cool I'll use that now. I tried it and the engine didn't like it I'm up at 9,000 feet so now I'm at Full Throttle 1850 28.0 gph
