How perform a re-start if your engine stopped on the ground

Post by Busty_Bomber »

I didn't see anywhere any tips on restarting the bird if you managed to let the engine stop. How would I go about this?

The Texan floods very easily if you prime too much. If the engine stops on the ground, you might make sure you didn’t accidentally put the fuel selector “off”. When you attempt a restart, try without priming first. Then prime very conservatively thereafter. If all else fails, turn everything off and go “have a Coca-Cola” before you resume!
