The Accu-Sim Connie is in beta

Post by Scott - A2A »

It's been in beta for a bit now and so far, testing has been going well. We just finished creating new inertia starters and fuel delivery system, which means starting these four brutish Wright 3350 radials is quite an experience.
This is one of the early aircraft which makes it one of the rarest as well. It has dual speed superchargers, not unlike the one found in the P-51 Mustang. The engine sound system is an all new approach for us making for a deep
and dynamic audio experience, which is something we've wanted for a long time. Many of the systems are hydraulically operated instead of electric and the flight modeling has been inspired from our recent Accu-Sim FM techniques.

We're pretty far along but still have a good bit of work to do. As usual, the manual will be a big weight in the final hours, but it's no different than previous projects in this regard.

Here's a screenshot just today after doing some adjustments to the supercharger outputs and returning on final. This airplane looks amazing in every configuration and every angle:

Just finished parking the civilian Stang on the ramp at TNCM after watching the stream while flying. Good to see it being made official on here. With over 200,000 views on the other thread is about time we get a new one to start the counter over on. The screen shot itself is stunning to say the least.

It looks amazing, the new sound implementation seems very interesting. I actually ordered a sound card for my PC the other day because of rather poor onboard audio, maybe this will be of benefit with the Connie. :) Is it too much to ask if we are weeks or months away until release?

Looks great... Typically not my thing but thanks to the freeware C-47 that came out recently I'm quite interested in this!

For anyone that wanted to see the announcement was it was made on Flight Angels here it is

Enjoy :)

I was most surprised there was not at least a screenshot of the cockpit or even a close up of a gauge.
