it's been so long since I last flew the Connie. Anyways, everything was good an I even greased the landing even though I flew it last time in March Asbjørn Viking performed perfectly and spot on the numbers in the manual.
I really should do this more often...

That's a nice stiff crosswind! She's hard to keep straight. I landed with a 27 knt wind at my 9:30/10:00 the other day. Gaddzooks that was fun.Tomas Linnet wrote:And another one. Am I the only flying the Connie these days?
I fly as often as I can. Busy time of year for concrete deliveries. I've done 22 flights and around 50 hours sense my last post. I've kinda been waiting for a pay raise which should be any time now. Currently I'm at Ft Nelson (CYYE), BC after leaving Vancouver (CYVR), BC. It was around 0C and snowing when I arrived. Been needing to dilute the oil before shutdown lately. Expecting the engines to "cough, cough, sputter" soon as well. Curious how long I can make them last.
Cheers
Roger

Re: Connie Pilots- Post your Captian's logs
Received a raise tonight. Flew from Kodiak, AK to Nome, AK. It's cold out and diluting of oil was accomplished.
The engines are holding in there so far. They are showing no signs of wear according to the gauges.
No personal notes on my landing? I've not seen this before. It was smooth but after touch-down I discovered that I had landed with brakes partially applied. I always apply some brakes after take-off and prior to gear retraction and forgot to release them. Take-off at Kodiak was on 25 and heading into the mountain. I suppose I was a little distracted, maybe?

Re: Connie Pilots- Post your Captian's logs
Hello all and Merry Christmas.
I just finished my 173rd career flight this morning. I flew from Mary (UTAM), Turkmenistan to Heydar Aliyev (UBBB), Azerbaijan. It was a great flight with smooth air almost the entire flight. Engines are still going
Cheers
Roger

Repurchased today the Connie for P3D taking advantage of the A2A sale and did a short flight to test her in the new sim.
Glad to see my records are still there!

It is really nice that Accusim pulls from the same file no matter which sim you fly. I am very appreciative of this. I assume you're in P3Dv4?rosariomanzo wrote:Repurchased today the Connie for P3D taking advantage of the A2A sale and did a short flight to test her in the new sim.

I like watching peoples careers proceed. Good flying everyone.
