That would be seriously good modern use of a Connie.

Love the American Overseas paint, Marcel. This is one I was hoping someone would paint, so I'm looking forward to seeing the final rendition.

Cheers,
Mike

Is there any chance of the L-049 being repainted into the White TWA livery, I seen it's been omitted ;) :P But would be awesome, have had a go at doing it myself, but I cannot paint for the life of me :O So if someone could do I'd be eternally grateful :3

I will be doing the Flying Tiger version and I don't think they had a L049 so will have to use the L1049 livery and wondered if that would bother anyone? Also does anyone have a better picture or graphic of that nose logo?

I was wondering if any of our talented painters was up to doing a classic BOAC paint- different of course to the one supplied in the sim... I saw 2 that are quite pretty and very shiny too!

Destroyed by fire at Burbank, CA on 22 jan 53 after wheels-up landing. Aircraft was being used for training, and circuit braker giving warning of "undercarriage up"
had been disconnected. Pilot had forgotten to reconnect, and perfect wheels-up landing made. Crew escaped unhurt (total 8 onboard), but fuel valves lef open
and aircraft quickly enveloped by flamers.
