Hello there!
I'm using the Connie with GSX since the beginning with no major issues...
... But there is no catering door (actually there is one, but it doesn't open), so I can't use this realisticaly.
Then, the cargo doors are beneath the fuselage, so it doesn't look optimum the way I set the 'matching points' in GSX for the conveyor belts, but it doesn't bother me much.
Disable the staircase on the L049 : this way the GSX staircases will be used properly and the conveyor belts (for the luggage) won't collide with stairs.

Hi, can you tell me how to disable the Connie staircase, so I can get the GSX stairs to show? I tried using the A2A menu (shift 3 I think) but even when the Connie's staircase is disabled the GSX staircases will not appear. The GSX stairs won't even appear in the GSX edit position screen.

I asked on the GSX forum but the Dev doesn't appear to know either?

Thanks.

Hello!
I struggled myself either quite long for the GSX stairs to appear!
If I remember correctly I selected only places with no jetways available, deactivated the A2A stairs, and then... I don't quite remember at all...
Anyway the solution is not as complicated as it seems!
Please let us (me) know if you still can't make the GSX Stairs function correctly!

Hello, thanks for replying.

No I still can't get any GSX stairs to appear with the Connie. They don't show in the GSX edit positions screen either and don't show when I select boarding from the GSX menu. It doesn't matter which airport I'm at. Ones without any Jetways or with?

It seems like there is some code in A2A Connie that blocks any GSX stairs from showing up? The in-built Connie stairs are effective though. Trouble is, lthe max load time of the A2A menu is too short for GSX2. BY the time the stewardesses have gone up the stairs, the A2A stairs are moving back, so I need to hit shift 4 and get another loading going! With 44 passengers half of them end up moonwalking up empty space and then walking through the closed door!

I've looked at the Connie cfg and can't see anything that is blocking GSX stairs? It must be hard coded somewhere? Maybe it's the Orbx airports? I have Orbx installed everywhere.

The GSX dev hasn't answered me so I guess he's stumped as well?

Cheers.

Hey,

No no in fact it works, (I struggled, as I wrote, but i succeeded without making any big changes)
There is no code issue between GSX and A2A.
let me a little time and I'll look it up for you!

What version of GSX do you have? An is it up to date? These are 2 infos to begin with ;)

Hold the line!

Hello all,
Soo... I tried at a random Parking position today.
Gate A10 at Kennedy Intl. KJFK
As there were jetways, the GSX stairs never appeared although boarding was requested.
I went to the GSX menue>customize this parking position>[no jetways].
At this moment, without changing anything else, as I requested boarding the stairs appeared!
The only "down" thing, is that the jetway at this parking position turned default (they're quite ugly).
If you park at any other Parking position (Large GA Ramp for exemple) check if the "No Jetways" isselected in the customization menue, and it should do it!

Let me know if it solved your probem!
