The FE is turned on. TO from Newark - shortly after TO loses all manifold pressure. Pulling throttles back and then on and pressure returns for a few minutes then lost again. Tried this a few times and changed FSX settings to those noted in beginning of the manual. I just reinstalled FSX and A2A on to a new PC - didn't have this issue on the old PC.
Would greatly appreciate any suggestions - running low on passenger barf bags.....

Re: Loss of Manifold Pressure after TO
Hi.
Just before your MAN failure
1/ What was your BMEP reading
2/ What was your RPM
3/ what was your MAN pressure
Did you notice any other engine issues like OIL pressure and temps , cylinder temps , also how old are the engines.
Was you using a weather engine like ASN , and what was the weather conditions.
regards alan.

Re: Loss of Manifold Pressure after TO
Weather sunny, upper 80s. Can you get carb ice at under 1500 feet altitude in those conditions?
Just before loss of pressure:
RPM - 2700
MAN pressure - 40
Engineer told me everything was OK. Engines are new.
Just tired again and when I hit 80 mph lost MAN pressure again.

Re: Loss of Manifold Pressure after TO
Did the throttle levers in the cockpit move to a lower setting? Possibly a control conflict.
Cheers

Re: Loss of Manifold Pressure after TO
You are correct - the throttle controls moved down on their own, which of course is why MAN dropped. I'll check controls and any conflict but didn't touch the joystick when it happened.
Re: Loss of Manifold Pressure after TO
I found the problem - I had a second joystick plugged in (for Real Flight RC) with throttle off so it was conflicting with the MS Force Feedback.
