Re: radios
Hi
You should have a panel to the left when in the Captain's seat. one or more of the switches must be on since you have the morse code. Yes, you will have to manage the NAV radios yourself.

I've looked at that, All switches on, DME off, still 2 hours of beeps. I cant seem to find the OFF for that. The Filter switch will not move?

Check the Navigators radio panel. There may are audio switches there.2yellowdogs wrote:I've looked at that, All switches on, DME off, still 2 hours of beeps. I cant seem to find the OFF for that. The Filter switch will not move?
Actually that mimics thepilots settings. So I don't know where your audio is coming from.

Re: radios
If all your radio audio switches are off and you're still getting sound, it's something other than the Connie causing it. You can try cycling the switches to see if that helps, otherwise, I'd check that you don't have something assigned to the audio switch elsewhere in the control assignments in FS.

Re: radios
Try the load your default flight, after loading, switch to an aircraft like the B58 or the C172. Check the audio panel. This is a known "feature" in FSX, I can't remember the default key to toggle it.
Kind Regards

Re: radios
Switches all off, no morse code, Radios work. NAV Radio is modeled to correct time frame so will not go to higher freq's as required for some airport vor's? is there a workaround for this?
Re: radios
NAV ranges from 108.00 to 117.95 MHz. Do you expect something different?2yellowdogs wrote:Switches all off, no morse code, Radios work. NAV Radio is modeled to correct time frame so will not go to higher freq's as required for some airport vor's? is there a workaround for this?

Re: radios
Please, can you post a picture about the switch to turn morse sound Off? Or can you detail the localization of that switch, does it shows the printname like what above the SW?Tomas Linnet wrote: ↑14 Jan 2017, 14:46 Hi

Re: radios
On page 113 of the manual, number 20 is the row of radio switches.
Re: radios
Thank you, I will work with those switches to find which one mutes the morse sound.AviationAtWar wrote: ↑03 Apr 2020, 08:43 On page 113 of the manual, number 20 is the row of radio switches.

Re: radios
Hi.
The connie is fitted with old style radios , they DO NOT have the option to turn the morse off modern nav equip have the ident on/off button, the only two ways to turn the morse off on old radios is to .
1/. turn the NAV or ADF OFF then you have NO nav aides not a good idea.
2/. tune to a different freq , again this is not good as you need the nav aides on your route
regards alan.
