Wrong 2D Panels

Post by rockyoh »

Hello,

I just recently purchased and installed the Connie and I'm very excited to learn to fly it. I am having a panel with the A2A 2D panels - they are missing. I have tried to install a couple of times. When I hit "Shift+1"- I get the flight panel; "Shift+2" - I get the radio panel; "Shift+3" - the Autopilot; "Shift+4" - The note of what is available. I have tried to troubleshoot as best I can. The panel.cfg in the WoS_L049/panel directory seems to specify the correct window titles but the definitions are wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am running Prepar3D v5.3 Hotfix 2 (5.3.17.28160). I am also running ChasePlane. I wonder if that is messing things up. I've tried to kill it, but it autostarts when I start up P3D

Thanks,
RockyOH

Hi Rocky
I dont have P3D or chaseplane , but i do have FSX+Acceleration , and mine work OK , so i would have at a guess that chase plane is cause of issue , are any other aircraft messed up with regard to these view keys .

Hello RockyOH,

Looks like the entire "[Window00]" section (and the "[VIEWS]" section) have been removed from the panel.cfg. (these should sit between the "[Window Titles]" section and "[Window01]" section. It's been a long time since I've had ChasePlane installed so not sure if it'd do this, but I take it you haven't made any manual edits to the file?

Thanks,
Nick

For what it's worth, I've been running ChasePlane for several years now and it has never messed with my A2A 2D panels, in either FSX or P3Dv4.
