How to add engine hours

Post by CXA007 »

I did a rebuild of my system and want to add my engine hours back in. Is there anywhere to do that?

I tried changing the state.cfg file here "'C:\Users\CXA00\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\A2A_Beechcraft_35_Bonanza" with no effect.

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave

Welcome to the forum :D
Do you have a backup of the files in your documents\A2A folder? If not, then I think you’ll need to go flying to get some hours.
Kind Regards
Tomas

Thank Thomas..

I may have them backed up, I'll have to take a look as to what I backed up from the My Documents folder before I did the system reload.

Look in your C:\Users\YourName\Documents\A2A\FSX\Bonanza35 folder. It's counterintuitive, but that is where all the logs are stashed for your Bonanza, even though you've got P3D.

Rename your file: v2_BonanzaV35log.dat to something like v2_BonanzaV35log.dat.bak10. Check the dates on your files v2_BonanzaV35log.dat0N, and pick one that was before your system reload. Rename that one to v2_BonanzaV35log.dat. Hopefully your Bonanza will be back to it's state, including hours on the Hobbs.
