Re: Sound problem
Hi Greg,
I assume this is when using FSX Acceleration.
When you launch FSX, which aircraft loads in the default flight? In other words, which one shows in the revolving preview when the 'Free Flight' screen first shows?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Sound problem
Okay, thanks Greg. Is this a problem which has just started happening recently, and if so did you make any changes to the sim at around the same time that could give us any clues? Also, does it just affect the Bonanza, or all your A2A aircraft?
If it's just the Bo, have you double checked the volume control in the Shift 3 menu?

Yes it just started happening about 4 flights ago it just does it on the Bonanza and the volume was all the way up on the volume slider

Re: Sound problem
Okay, thanks Greg. Chances are the issue will be related to some change to your system that happened at the same time such as installing a new add-on, changing your FSX configuration in some way or making a change to the audio setup on your PC. Can you recall any such changes?
Cheers,
Nick

Re: Sound problem
Hey Greg,
another thing to ask would be if its a saved flight try creating a whole new flight too just in case the saved one has got a little corrupt.
thanks,
Lewis - A2A

Re: Sound problem
OK thanks I did turn the sound of FSX down because the Bonanza sound was flat booming
Re: Sound problem
Hi all,
I had this problem arise unexpectedly. Without knowingly making any changes, I lost the internal sounds for the Bonanza (and the other Accusim aircraft).
The solution I stumbled on is simple, and Nick and Lewis will know about it. They probably don't know just how careless their own pilots might be.
Using the not-so-well-known "Add-ons|Accusim sound menu" [from the top menu bar in P3Dv4.5], one can redirect the Accusim sounds to one of several devices. Somehow I had inadvertently changed that setting from my expected option to another device that I had previously disabled. Once I redirected the Accusim sounds to the correct device, all was well.
Don't know if this will solve your problem. But others might have made the same mistake as did I and this note might prove useful to someone else.
Hope this helps,
Mike MacKuen
