Bonanza B35 update issues

Post by Golfer2A »

I have encountered update errors when installing Accusim P3DV4 sims (Bonanza B35, T-6, P-51). A second install attempt seems to clear the error, however, the sim exhibits Control Function (Shift+3) problems and there is no access to the Maintenance Hanger. This issue then affects my other A2A Accu-sim P3DV4 models, except for the J3.

Uninstalling and reinstalling all the affected models, but NOT installing the updates, allows all A2A accusim P3DV4 models to function normally. Of course the updates listed in the Install process would be nice to have.

Updates affected:
19.12.27.0
20.6.18.0
21.1.30.0

Error messages:
"Warning 1946. Property 'system.appusermodel.startpointoption' for shortcut 'Bonanza check for update' could not be set."

"Error writing to file: C:\user\name\onedrive\documents\prepar3DV4 addons\A2A\gauges\accusim-xml\codes.xml.
Verify that you have access to that directory"

Can anyone help resolve this issue?

Thanks, Golfer2A

Hey Golfer,

we along with a wide range of the internet yesterday encountered some intermittent down time as some servers where updated overnight on the 5th May and this had a knock on affect. Can you try re-updating now as the issue appears to be resolved today.

thanks,
