I just want to bump this back on top of the page (you never know  ). I would just be very happy if shockwave would do a T6.

The Texan is a nice idea. Another counter-insurgency aircraft like the the T-28 Trojan would be great :) .

AT6 would be super! My grandfather flew them and i have always loved them.
And for the P40, IRIS makes one Bradburger, so to cool you senation check thiers out, it isnt to bad. But i would still like to see Shockwave do the Warhawk.

AT-6! I'd (almost *grin*) kill for an airplane I've actually flown!

yes, we would very much like to do run a T-6 down the Absolute Realism process. We will do this aircraft, at some point - I just don't know when.

The only downside is all the money ive spent on other addon aircraft will go to waste :[ lol

(P.S. A T-28 would be really cool too.. after the T6 of course lol)

:D hi all ,
By the way i'm voting too for the T6 . If you want to learn more about their history for France , just go there, it is a new website that my friends and me have done about the french aviation during algeria war (1954-1962).
www.frenchwingsoveralgeria.com ( go on gallery button for over 200 pics of T6g in war condition)

You have my vote for a Harvard / T-6

I have access to some Canadian Harvards of which I could supply you with any pictures you need!!

My dad flew T-6's in the US and Harvard's in Europe in the '50s

I have an original USAF T-6G manual if you would like to copy anything from it!!
I would be glad to help!!!

I have every Shockwave addon and would love to have a Harvard as well!!

A T-6, SNJ would sure be nice to have. Hope you could make her handle on the ground, takeoff and landing, and fly like the real thing. Have been told by a Navy pilot friend that if you can fly a T-6/SNJ you can fly anything WWII type.
Also a very good PT-17 would be great.

T-6/Harvard

Post by ThinkingManneil »

Yes! PLEASE do a T-6/SNJ (with a working tailhook!)/Harvard! I've flown Sixes and Harvard's several times and have enjoyed them every time I've gone up. If you did a Six to Absolute Realism standards (especially when it comes the cockpit and sounds like the inertial starter, "Texan Snarl", and the inflight engine sounds) it would have every other T-6 sim out there beat hands down.

Cheers,

Neil

PS. Don't forget the chromed prop spinner; that really tops off the Six's look for me!

Any more word/thought/progress on doing the T-6/SNJ/Harvard? A lot of solid Six fans waiting hopefully out here for a real "bells & whistles" treatment of our favourite machine.
