Investment Advice.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you would have $49.00.

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in AIG one year ago, you would have $33.00 today.
If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago, you would have $0.00 today.

But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the aluminum cans for the recycling refund, you would have received $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily & recycle.
It is called the 401-Keg.

And as a bonus...
A recent study found that the average Canadian walks about 900 miles a year.
Another study found that on average Canadians drink 22 gallons of alcohol a year.
That means that the average Canadian gets about 41 miles to the gallon!

Makes me damned proud to be a Canadian!

Hmmm, that might be about how much I walk in a year, but I don't think my fuel economy is near that good.

Clearly I need to walk more miles

I bought a RX 5700XT video card in early 2000 for about $400. After replacing it with a RX 6800 I sold it this month on Ebay for $800. Still didn't cover the cost of the RX 6800.
Ryzen 7 5800X3D liquid cooled, OC to 4.5 ghz, Radeon XFX 6900XT Black edition, 2 tb M2 drive, 32 gb ddr4 ram, Asus Hero Crosshair VIII mother board, and some other stuff I forget exactly what.

Now that this came up again, I initially panicked after I noticed that some digital coin with an animal on its logo's face had vanished soon after I invested all my savings on it. But then I was contacted by the person who sold me the very coins earlier, and was now pitching for getting onboard a new similar thing. He said that I need to consider the facts, and stop panicking. He reminded me that the coin went up 15'000 % initially, and this new one has potential for even higher - and it only came down just 100 %.

Makes sense, I think I am in!

I began investing in Whiskey and cigarettes when I was 8 years old. The Doctor tells me it will shorten my life by at least 20 years.

It costs me $30,000 a year to live and I spend $200 a week on Booze and smokes. So far I am $200,000 in front!!!!
