Calling all Real World Pilots!

Post by Chad Graves »

I need your guys help! I've been assigned a project in statistics, and I need to gather data for it. I really want to do my project on pilots, but I need a hundred pilots to help me out in order to do this. So far I have 14 so I still need aaaaaaalot (86). So if your are willing to help out here is what I need.

Name: Optional but would be awesome for data completeness.
Years that you have been flying.
Total hours that you have.
Whether or not you went to college.
And what certificates do you hold.

If you would be willing to help you can either post below or if you would rather you can email it to me.

Thanks for your help in advance!

If you want to get some real interesting guys, head over to - warbirdinformationexchange.org and ask there. The guys are really good about helping with stuff like this. Be sure to post in the "General Aviation" forum, not the main forum. Don't worry about it not being seen, the guys you want to get info from still look in there when a thread pops up.

Here's my info -

Name: Robert Newman.
Years that you have been flying: Since I was 16 (20 years), but only recently in earnest (Last 3 years).
Total hours that you have: About 1300 hours.
Whether or not you went to college: Yes and No... I have A-Levels (A UK school advanced level certificate), which would be considered an associates degree equivalent in the US.
And what certificates do you hold: Commercial, Multi, Instrument, CFI, CFII, MEI and Type rating for Beech 1900D (and soon to have DHC-8 Type rating).

Hope this helps and I'd be fascinated to know what the project is about!
Big Bad Rob...
