Just finished my first flight with the Civilian P-51 and it is beyond amazing! I really enjoyed all of the realism of the aircraft along with the modern cockpit. Great combination. :D
After I landed, I checked my motor and it was still in good shape. How about that!

Bought it yesterday and had a quick tootle-about. Have to say: excellent stuff!! I can very much see myself doing some long range IFR flights, perhaps on VATSIM. Good job guys! Now get your ass on the F-104

I think you guys made a good business decision here.

I never bought any "military" stuff for FSX because I have military sims for that which involve shooting at each other, but this was a must buy.. an excuse to fly a modern panel in a beast like this. The perfect plane for some fun long range flights in all weather online etc.
I like it alot, it could be my gateway drug to some of your other stuff.

I've already forgotten to fillup with oxygen once, lucky this is not real life

I'm a little concerned with one of the new features. Is there a button in one of the menus to find the key if you lose it?

Seriously I've always wanted ALL the A2A stuff with modern conviences but without replacing the old stuff.
Like autopilot, ILS radios etc etc. I want to pretend I'm a rich kid who's learning to fly on a p51 and using it like a little Cessna.

Just picked up the civilian Mustang... what a TREAT! I LOVE the way she SHAKES at low RPM... that, to me, says raw power, like the shaker hoods on the musclecars of years gone by... What a bird. MUCH more class than a LearJet for high speed IFRs.
ALL THE A2A PLANES!!!

I'm still a little confused. I have the military WOP P-51 w/Accu-Sim and have already installed the latest core update. Now I want to purchase the civilian model. I would imagine that all I have to do is install the civvie version, since everything else has already been installed. Or is that wrong? Do I need to re-install everything? :?

So the latest core update needs to be installed again?

Hello,

yes the latest core update should always be the last thing installed. Otherwise for example how with a previous copy of the core update know what the p-51civ is since it was released prior the civilians development/release etc.

thanks,

Okay, so I can download the civvie model, install it and then run the update again. The Accu-Sim add-on will work with the new model without being re-installed? Gotcha.
