Little help required

Hi all i am waiting for my new pc and i am mostly going to be on fsx se, my delemer is i have a samsung syncmaster 223 thats around 5 years or more old so i am i need of a new monitor.
I have done a lot of reviews and still i not sure what monitor to get i was thinking of getting a gysnc monitor but read that fsx will be no good for this? I looking to spend £200 but will push to £300 if need be can any body suggest what i am to look for or any suggestions for me please.
