Earth has two moons ?

Whoa I just saw this.
I hope this ends up registered-validated as Earth's second moon
You will surprise your friends too.

Also by the way folks have you seen Star Trek Continues on YouTube.
It's a fan made continuation of the original series.
I have been watching it and I have found it to be pretty good.
Chris Doohan plays the role of his dad (James Doohan as Scotty in Star Trek TOS) and he does it well. The actor portraying Kirk has Shatner's mannerisms down well (I think he needs to have more womanizing though like Shatner did in the series)
In the first episode The actor whom portrayed the God Apollo in Star Trek TOS is here again too playing the same role but much older. So far they have 6 episodes
By the way they are raising funds (from fans etc.) to have more episodes made

Moon: "a natural satellite of any planet."

Anything that circles the Earth that we did not put there is therefore a moon.

Huh, interesting. Seems like an asteroid that found a new home and leveled up to Moon. Cool find!

The question is, how long will it be before we put something on it?

Well, not quite. A moon is a natural satellite, i.e. a celestial body which has come to orbit a primary, like Earth, in a permanent, stable manner. There is no concrete definition as to what a moon is, and many very small objects like this one, 2016 HO3, that orbit Saturn near its ring system are called 'moonlets'. The problem with this and the other so-called quasi-satellites of Earth discovered are that they primarily orbit the sun, and erratically encircle Earth as well. 2016 HO3 spends most of its orbital period closer to the Sun than the Earth. A quasi-satellite like 2016 HO3 live outside the "Hill sphere," which is a planet's zone that attracts the placement of stable, permanent natural satellites.

While cool to find, I don't think it amounts to the standard of a classical moon.
