Hey look on the bright side we may not know what the next plane will be but we know what it won’t be. Check one plane off the list of possibilities.

I cant help but wonder though..is A2A done with warbirds? The COTS line is close i guess..but frankly after the b17..p51 ect im suprised the B25 Mitchell has not been considered as important to history as it was (doolittle raid). Are there or has there ever been any talk or chance of us seeing the Mitchell ever? I swear id pay $150 for a B25J. Its kinda like hoping i win the lottery lol but i seriously pray every year that there will be the announcement "B25J Mitchell coming to FSX with Accusim"

Hi.
Yes i vote for a b25 doolittle raider , and a lancaster dam buster , both historic aircraft , both steeped in history.
And i know lewis would favour a lanc.
regards alan.

Re: Next plane?
Boston is a little more important dare I say, it performed great in all theatres of war in which it was engaged (that's all of them including heavy Eastern front service) served before the US entered the war in fighting back fascism and played parts in multiple roles which is interesting. A real workhorse and oft forgotten. I do think the Mitchell gets the propaganda praise because of the Doolittle raid, but otherwise was just another Bomber among the many Mediums, in similar vain to the B-17 being the propaganda bomber but the Liberators being used more, and the B-17 only carrying as muich of a payload as a Mossie, an RAF Medium bomber with a crew of 2.
RAF wise the Lancaster and the Spitfire as the obvious propaganda planes, getting most attention over the others performing the same roles, Halifax's and whatnot.

And if Lewis has his way, the next warbird multi engine would be the Lanc!!

Re: Next plane?
If A2A creates an Accusim DC-3 I think they may be able to retire on the earnings. But on a more serious note, I think it's time for a twin and I think the Aerostar or a Seminole may the best choices.
Re: Next plane?
Cant say id agree that the boston performed better than the 25...far less range and lower celing and if im not mistaken had less bomb load. It was good for its time..but was quickly overshadowed by more modern designs..much like the F86 was an awsome fighter for a hot second..but was rather quickly deemed obsolete. I think part of that "propaganda" was because aircraft like the B17 and B25 and P51 really did make revolutionary jumps forward in alot of aspects. Sure theres always some bias..but its almost become a fad nowadays to contradict history with some new jaw dropping "fact" like "the P51 wasnt actually the greatest fighter of wwII" when in reality ..may not have been THE "best" next to something like a -5 corsair..it did however earn its fame in history by doing most things better than most others at the time. Its famous for a reason!
Re: Next plane?
Hey, keep calm !!! I just wanted to know if it was expected the Bonanza F33 because the aircraft is different from V35 only in the tail so the job could be short!
