Ron Attwood wrote: 02 Oct 2020, 14:53 A couple of things.
1: I bought a 1TB SSD solely for MFS thinking it will fill up pretty quick. It didn't. If you have a GOOD internet connection everything is streamed, not stored on your SSD. Delivery is a smooth as a baby's bottom. (Can you still say that and offend someone?) Out of 931GB I still have 790GB left. I've added a load of scenery etc.
2: Much screaming about Hit any key. Am I right in thinking that everyone with that issue simply pounds away at their keyboard? Click on the screen preferably just below the 'Hit any key' text.
Thanks Ron, I will try that.

I had the same problem with installing, turns out it needed some xbox apps to be present on your computer. I had deleted them ages ago, since I was not interested in xbox, installed them again, and MSFS installed as well...
FS painter. You'll find most of my FS9/FSX/P3D paints here.

Once you get the install sorted, it's real nice. When installling, it's a good idea to put the content packages in a top-level folder, like F:\MSFS or such (like on a SSD or M.2 ideally), otherwise some 3rd party packages end up trying to create files with too long of paths. Yay, Windows. -_-

Hey Buffy! Does that suggestion require a reinstall, or can that be done after the fact with minimal headaches? I have a 2TB SSD, install is already there. Haven’t had coffee yet. Might be a stupid question.

IDK? I think the Microsoft Store one has lots of files locked so I'm not sure? I have a feeling it's a pain to try to though?

Well, growing weary of the Rotax and high wings, I finally bit the bullet and downloaded Rob Young's new G36 Turbo mod. Looks like I found my go-to aircraft for the next couple of years. Thanks Rob, gladly donated. Hopefully A2A comes up with something that wows me. Proper V35 please! Gonna take a LONG time to get used to the G1000.

Yep. I was incredibly disappointed with it at first release but since last night (and with the g1000 mod) it has taken over what the TBM used to hold as favorite.

Now we wait for accurate tail dragger FM's and the Aerostar. REEEEEEEALLY want to be able to put an RXP GTN in that thing badly, and I can't wait to see what kind of panel and accessory options we get.
