I've just come back to P3Dv4.5 after a break from all flightsims.
I wanted to remind myself which aircraft I had in FSX, and which in P3D.
The A2A FSX C172 was where I expected it to be. But where the heck were the A2A P3D planes? I'm sure I bought several.
My P3D runs on F:. Eventually I found the missing planes hiding shyly on C:\Documents\Prepare3D v4 Add-ons\A2A\Simobjects.
Question is, did I, in a fit of madness, install them there, or was it all A2A Simulation's doing?

Re: A2A folders
Hello John,
The "Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons" folder is indeed the default autodetect installation folder for P3Dv4. Lockheed Martin decided to do things a little differently when compared to FSX, and by installing here we're just following their protocol.
The advantage of an install location outside of the main P3D directory is that the host sim can be updated and reinstalled without needing to reinstall any add-ons.
Thanks,
Nick

Aw, thanks for quick reply!
It was the Documents folder. It seemed to me an odd starting folder.
All best.
