What is the BEST A2A airplane?

Post by Paughco »

I believe that the P-40B is the best A2A airplane. Definitely not the most sophisticated, but in terms of pure visceral fun to fly, the P-40 is totally where it's at.

The BEST? Purely technologically in terms of accusim features and visuals it‘s probably the latest one, the Bonanza. I can’t tell the most popular one as I don‘t know the sales. would be interesting though. My personal favourite is the AT-6 as the most immersive, IMO, closely followed by the Piper Cub and the Cherokee.

I think the Comanche might be the most popular one. At least, the Comanche is the most requested A2A plane for FS2020.

To quote Mika Hakkinen when asked long and complicated questions:

‘Yes.’

I think it’s really the only appropriate answer.

If pressed; the Cub, the B377, the Cherokee & Comanche, closely followed by the AT-6, P-40 & Constellation, oh and Spitfire…
Cub, Cherokee, Comanche, Civvie 'stang, P-40, B-377 COTS, Spitfire, Connie, T-6, C-172, C-182, D-III, Anson, F4U

If you ask to my head, the Bonanza. If you ask to my heart, the Comanche.

For me it is still the B377!

It is the beginning of Accusim, the beginning of my "job" as betatester at A2A, the plane I learned the most about airplanes, technics and flying in general. The plane wich keep me busy the most during flight.

Still in love and I hope to see her in MSFS ... hopefully sonner than later. Miss her since so many years!
