From memory: when you are on the standard moving map and press menu isn‘t there an option to turn on the terrain overlay?

I bought the RXP 530 but then found out it doesn't have a terrain map so I don't use it. What I would like to have is something bigger than the 400 that has a terrain map that I can use and that I can install in my A2A aircraft.

Yes, as Marc says the RXP GNS 530 does include a terrain map. It's the third page when in NAV mode.

The maps options in the GNS certainly aren't as sophisticated as the full colour maps and charts in the GTNs though if that's something you'd prefer?
