I have written about what I think of the dark cockpit in P3D v5.2. Now there is a mod described on Avsim see link. I have tried and there is a clear difference to the better. May be worth a try at least pending new textures from A2A

Its possible to play around with the various lighting settings to get rid of the dark cockpit. The trade off is that increasing overall brightness makes the clouds look washed out with less detail, and you have to change the settings related to what airplane you are flying
Ryzen 7 5800X3D liquid cooled, OC to 4.5 ghz, Radeon XFX 6900XT Black edition, 2 tb M2 drive, 32 gb ddr4 ram, Asus Hero Crosshair VIII mother board, and some other stuff I forget exactly what.
