FSX no longer loads

Well looks like FSX has finally bit the dust for me it won't even load up I guess I have to retire it and move on to FS2020 the load screen shows then it crashes

I had the same problem and went in and found the "Flight simulator X files" in my documents folder and deleted the "Logbook.bin" file and it fixed the problem for me. When you delete it at startup FSX will create a new one for you.

Hi awash2002.
Did you make a saved flight , at the end of the last flight you flew , that could cause a crash , deleting the saved flight could also fix the issue .

Hi awash2002,

For me yesterday when, I updated nvidia driver to 471.11 it started to crash at startup. I had reverted back to 466.77 and now it is OK ( fingers crossed )

Hi,

Go to nVidia Geforce Drivers select from the options your driver, click search and you will see list of drivers below.
The top is the latest, below are older versions. FSX works fine for me with this one "466.77-desktop-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql".
