A2A prices in p3d

I'm thinking of upgrading to p3d.

If I purchase the Professional version of p3d ( I don't like the water mark ), can I buy an a2a academic version aircraft and fly it in p3d pro? For example: the Cherokee ranges in price from $50. to $800.

I currently fly eight a2a aircraft in FSXSE.

You would have to buy the appropriate license for the sim. Profession sim = professional A2A product.

I think it's been recently mentioned elsewhere (where I can't find it) that "Academic" airplane models work fine with P3D Professional and vice versa...I'm pretty sure it was Bladerunner900 who posted...

I personally would recommend purchasing Academic versions of A2A products for whichever P3D version you have, either P3D Professional or Academic. Chances are about 110 percent that A2A Academic products will all work flawlessly in P3D Professional as well, and you'll be supporting Academics in the process. Academics are good. Except for my junior year of college when I was finally able to afford beer. Then Academics were not so good for a while.

I believe the difference between A2A Academic and Professional depends on the use you intend to make of the aircraft rather than the version of P3D you're running it on. This is according to something Scott once wrote.

Yes. I have swapped versions of P3D over the years, purchasing the appropriate license along the way. And YES, they all work as normal regardless of how you mix and match. I would in fact, be very annoyed if they did not.
