Comanche and Fs2020. What new features would you like to see?

I just wish we would finally see the Comanche.

I don’t think the panel needs upgrading from what we’ve seen in the P3D/FSX Version. With the various GPS options already available in MSFS it will be very easy to customize it to one’s needs in my opinion.

I would be perfectly happy to get the Comanche in the state it was in for FSX/P3D. No additional features needed imo.

Am still flying the standard Comanche 250 in FSX with pleasure. I'm not exuberant about changing to the new MS FS2020, and certainly not going to do so without a Comanche. But I'm watching this site to keep abreast of the possibility of having a Comanche and MS FS2020. And so will log on occasionally to see when the Comanche appears. No Comanche, no FS2020. Archive88

I would be happy just to have the option for a digital engine monitor like the one actually installed on Scott's Comanche.

An option for the one piece windscreen. To me that iconic of the Comanche. Center stack vs left stack radios option. and as someone else mentioned option for an upgraded set of instruments/AP. Not a full glass, but a G5 with G500 AP would be nice to see. + some digital engine temps. Most of these old planes out there have some sort of Frankenstein panel with a mix of new and old. Would be fun to have some mix and match options.

Yes - I would love to see TDS GTNxi support - and it is basically the F1/RXP unit of our old sims with some amazing new features like smart glide and altitude select arc.

Also I would prefer to have a decent Autopilot - I recall the P3D PA24 version being a simple 2 axis - which is better than nothing - but how about a GFC605 or something?

As for the 6 pack - I'm happy with that as long as there is an HSI - glass like Garmin G5s or Aspen EFD1000's would be a nice addition/option.

Here's a pic of the setup of my friend's aircraft - I really really like it. Would love to see something similar in the A2A Comanche (with GTN support hehe)

While there is general consensus about TDS, imho, any default MSFS instrument (like G5s) in A2A plane will look like square peg in a round hole.
There is some attempt to improve 530 by WT team, but comparing what RXP unit offers right now, in P3D, it will take them light years to get to the AUX pages. So far there is no mention about terrain-related functions, engine pages or fuel calculations even in the flagship NXI project. RXP unit has a config file in which 3rd party developer can set almost any airframe specific parameter. So far we don't see no such concept is MSFS for almost 2 years since release and the only option is take default or leave. Anyway, new improved default 530 is better than nothing.

As some alternative idea - STEC 55X autopilot, there is none in MSFS atm, but it seems it can be done without significant effort over existing KAP code (just different panel) + improvements in the logic, without modifying default KAP, that might be used by other products.
Extra features of modern digital autopilots will have big impact on development time. Code for these units (if done with attention to details ofc) could be more complex than code for the airplane itself.

I just want my old Comanche panel in MSFS at this point, warts and all. I'm hoping any of these requests would be optional, as I can only fly aircraft with steam gauges in MSFS due to stutterfests with the G1000 et al.

2. Single seat cockpit option.
3. V12 Merlin option added.
4. Perhaps a choice of engine driven or manual pump undercarriage?
5. Tail dragger option.
6. 8 guns with option to load ammo or have empty.
7. Round off the tail surfaces for a smoother look.
8. Flat or bulged canopy.
9. Maybe some 1940's vintage gauges would look cool?
10. Entry door on the port side would be more convenient.
