Hi,
I'm just wondering what is holding up A2A planes being in FS2020? There's no other companies planes I'd
rather fly, and FS2020 is really lacking any realism for aircraft n I'd just like to know why it's taking so
long to get in? What's blocking access?

Re: Question re FS2020
I believe the SDK and they are working on something for the US government at the moment. I could not find the post.

Re: Question re FS2020
I could be wrong, but I don't remember if A2A ever stated if they completed their work on redoing their Accusim code so that certainly could be part of the delay. I do remember them stating that their problem with the one thing in MSFS that was stopping them from being able to move forward was addressed. A2A also has to redo everything on the Comanche from top to bottom.
I would guess that they are working on something new to add to the next release for MSFS like they do with all new releases, such as the instrument panel fidelity with the Bonanza. Also, A2A developers had to work within FSX and P3D coding restrictions on how much they could code into each aircraft which I will speculate that MSFS has increased and that will bode well for all of us once we finally get a debut release into MSFS.
All of this takes time.

Re: Question re FS2020
Now you've just spoilt my plan. Since there hasn't been a 'Where's A2A for MFS 2020?' for about 20 minutes, I thought I's start one. But you beat me to it! Dagnabbit!

Re: Question re FS2020
Asobo has stated that no outside .exe will work with MSFS so that may be holding a lot of developers up. As in you can't run a .dll linking to a .exe and have it run outside of the sim is my understanding from the tread I read. I'm not a programmer so I don't know how all that works, so don't take me at my word on this.

Don't despair Ron, today's a new day and there's nothing quite like *yet another* MSFS thread!Ron Attwood wrote: ↑28 Mar 2022, 16:23 Now you've just spoilt my plan. Since there hasn't been a 'Where's A2A for MFS 2020?' for about 20 minutes, I thought I's start one. But you beat me to it! Dagnabbit!

Re: Question re FS2020
About five or six months ago, A2A announced that they'd cracked that problem. Hopefully we might see something new out this year, unless Asobo manage to stuff that up.mer8771 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2022, 00:10 Asobo has stated that no outside .exe will work with MSFS so that may be holding a lot of developers up.
