I've heard they are holding it of until :a2a: makes one for FSX/P3D, simply beacuse they want to compare theirs to the best of the best

I heard that A2A's second planned release for MSFS will actually be a Lancaster. But keep that under your hat! :P

In its current state I don't think DCS even has a map that has any of the county that was home to Lancaster Squadrons, I wouldn't be interested anyway tbh, unless the rumours and officially hinted at tad bits of future DCS full 'world' style maps comes to be true. DCS for me is F-18 Super Carrier button clicking immersion, I save il-2 series for my VR WW2 combat Flying 8)

Ooh, interesting... third party mod but looks promising. With DCS's proven multi-crew abilities and excellent all-round flight modelling this might be quite something when it's done.

For now, the only Lanc I fly on occasion is the one in Bomber Crew... not quite the same kind of simulation

Interesting but I wonder: You hardly find a WW2 server with more than 4-5 people flying there.. You'd need a full server for a heavy bomber to make sense and then they usually wouldn't come alone..

Well for now, I fly this one in P3D v5. Who knows, perhaps I will get to fly an A2A version before I shuffle off this mortal coil.

Hi bladerunner900.
That looks like the AH Lancaster , i have the FSX version , its the best out there at the moment , but sadly full of bugs they never fixed, Lewis obviously did not put enough pressure on scott to make an A2A one sadly .

Hello Alan.
Yes, you are correct sir. It's for P3D v4 originally so I had to do some trickery to get it into v5. But at least I get a Lancaster in the skies above my home town.

Steve.
