Giving painters a bad name

Post by Ron Attwood »

A painter and decorator gets the job of painting the inside of his local church, having quoted a price for two coats of emulsion.

On day one he thinks that no-one would notice if he mixed the paint 50-50 with water so that he could use half the paint and make more profit.

On day two he is putting a bucket of water into his bucket of paint and mixing it when suddenly the priest emerges for the confessional and challenges

the painter, accusing of being the most despicable cheat and of stealing from the church.

The painter says, “Yes OK you’ve caught me, what do you want me to do?”

The Priest says; “Repaint, Repaint, and thin no more!”
Eva Vlaardingerbroek, an inspiratiom.

And on that same note.....

The local law enforcement just made a huge pot bust on a shrimp trawler off the coast. There was so much pot that they had nowhere to keep it, so they decided to burn it all at the local dump. When the fire was really big and producing a huge cloud of smoke, a flock of Terns flew through the smoke. The local Audobon group heard of the incident and out of concern they traced the flock to study the effect of the pot on the birds.

After careful analysis, the found that no tern was left un-stoned.
