HSI?

Post by Alky »

This model has autopilot obviously, probably didn't in RL, but I can't find a way to change the heading while on AP. I know I can install a pop-up HSI gauge, but surely there must be a way to change heading on this model as is (?)

The directional gyro, or heading indicator, if you wish, is below your artificial horizon in the
instrument panel. On the lower right hand of that gauge is a knob that is your heading bug.

While the autopilot is engaged, turning the heading bug left or right also commands the plane to turn left or right. While the AP is not engaged, it is just a reference to assist you while accomplishing a turn to a new heading.

Ah, thank you, I moved my mouse all over the cockpit and couldn't find the right spot. :D
