You should join the 91st bombardment group if you wish to find out , i fly the B17 in FSXA with the pucker module engaged , the aircraft can be damaged by FLAK , once while over berlin , on a bomb run , i opened the doors waiting for the bombs away call , when FLAK took out my eng 3 , because i was on autopilot , in the blink of an eye , the aircraft lost the gyro , aircraft pitched up and she flipped on her back spiralling down , co-pilot screaming do you wish me to extinguish eng 3 , by the time i regained control , i had lost the chance to feather , and had gone from 23000ft to 10000ft , i just made it back home to UKBA bassingbourne .

i have thought about that. but i think one of the guys that are with them say they fly for 8 hours i think

Hi cessna lover.
It all depends on the mission , next one is berlin and can take 9 hrs , but some missions take 4 to 5 hrs some short ones can take about 3 hrs, then there is the yearly iron man flying to hawaii from USA that is about 12 hrs , missions are not compulsary , you just sign up for the ones you want to fly , main thing is to have fun.
if long flights are not your thing you could always jump in a german aircraft , and attack the bomber force on the missions.
