What is the maximum range of the B-17 with pump bay tanks, tokyo wingtip and 100% fuel?

(normal climb, flight and speed).

Hamilton Field, California to Hickam Field, Hawai'i.

In the 91st Bomb Group we fly that every year around Dec 6 or 7th. Usually arrive with some a few gallons
of fuel in the tanks :) That hop is about 2090 nm.

Another long range flight we make is MacDill AFB - Walla Walla Regl., 2009 nm.

Anything over 8 hours, oxygen can become a limiting factor. On our 12 - 13 hour hops we stay bellow 12,000' for an
hour or more as we burn off fuel and conserve oxygen.
