I set up a few shortcuts on my laptop using the Input Config where FSX has been installed in D drive under Program Files (x86) - everything works fine.
Then I went to do the same thing on my desktop where FSX is installed in C drive also under Program Files (x86) - error message that it can't save asked to verify path to FSX and if B17 installed properly (yes to both).
I tried running FSX as Adminstrator. Also tried Input Config with FSX running and not running. Still no joy.
Seeking assistance.
[If there's no obvious solution, does the Input Config save the assignments to a specific file that I can copy from my laptop to my desktop? - my laptop has a new file under A2A/B17/axisConfig.cfg and I wonder if that's the pertinent file??]

I'm already administrator in my windows account. Just don't understand why it works on laptop and not desktop. Would hate to have to reinstall, but if I have to.....

Hi Tbolt,
Have you tried running the input configurator itself as administrator?
Thanks,
Nick
