Major Hydraulic Leak

Post by Avio »

For the span of 25 hours flying this plane, i had encountered 2 times major hydraulic leaks that needed a fix.

Is this being over modelled?

Probably random. I've flown the B-17 for a couple hundred hours and don't recall a major hydraulic leak happening.

This is likely just really bad luck (or good luck depending on how you look at it :) ).

Actually now i wonder if it was just luck. There were times when i did much braking, at times when speed was still quite fast. Not sure that could be cause though.
