I've come across a pesky problem in the P3Dv5 version of the Fortress. I can't get the C-1 Autopilot to work... no tell tale lights, no power, no reaction. When I hit the shortcut SHFT-9, instead of the C-1, I get the Bendix King unit in the attached picture. I can pull up the C-1 from the status bar and operate the dials from the pop-up panel, but either way, in the virtual cockpit or pop-up, no reaction from the system except for spinning dials. The Fort DOES react to the Bendix unit. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
C-1 Autopilot Inoperative in P3dv5
Re: C-1 Autopilot Inoperative in P3dv5

Hi rbapon.
In the shift+3 menu , at the bottom you will see 3 buttons , the center button allows you to pick from the C-1 or default Autopilot , then when you open the shift+9 it will show either the C-1 or the default Autopilot , i will check my FSX B17 , but i am pretty sure the C-1 can be operated via the VC or the popup.

I can confirm the C-1 works in P3Dv5.1.
As stated above you need to select the desired auto pilot from the shift+3 menu.
I hate to remind you but......RTFM!

Hi rbapon.
Having tried my FSX B17 the C1 only fully works after selecting it in Shift+3 first , the lights should go on and off as you move the centering knobs from full left to right and the controls to full deflection in each direction , this verifies the lights show deflection prior to setting up and engageing the autopilot.

Re: C-1 Autopilot Inoperative in P3dv5
Thanks guys... Had the B17 since the FSX days, never used the standard autopilot and overlooked the fact that there even was a standard Bendix option. Such as it is, I was just happy to try to jump right back and re-learn the C-1 and so much so that I overlooked the Shift-3 GPS option. Yes, I RTFM, but was still caught up by my enthusiasm to mess around with the quirky old time equipment.
