I ran across this on You Tube earlier this week but saw it was an hour. Didn't have an hour at that time so I made a mental note to come back to it. That flew out of my head as soon as I exited You Tube (My age I guess). Then I ran across it here and had an hour. Glad I did. Excellent. Thank you.

Is she actually airworthy? Wiki says yes, other websites say she’ll never be rated as such again... does anyone know?

That’s a very good question. From the attention to detail the restoration team put in it feels like she could fly. That doesn’t mean she ever be considered airworthy from a legal point of view.

Hi.
If i recall correctly , she was restored to her condition on her last 26th mission , so technically airworthy , but she is not airworthy under current regs due to ww2 avionics being fitted not modern avionics for NAV/Radio.
Also as much of the ww2 repairs done by her mechanics as possible was kept.
