Re: P3Dv5 crashes at the end of loading
Hi Brandon.
Have you tried firing up P3D with a default aircraft , then change to the A2A B17 , and also try the P3D without chaseplane and select the B17 , to see if you can narrow down the culprit.
There are guys of the 91st using the A2A B17 in P3D without issue , i use FSXA at this time , and use trackIR5 for views with no issues .
regards alan.

Re: P3Dv5 crashes at the end of loading
Hi Brandon,
In addition to always starting off P3D (or FSX) with a default flight (default aircraft and default airport) before loading in a complex aircraft like the A2A B-17, I was wondering if you ran the updater just to make sure everything is as current as possible? If you have done so and are still having trouble, Nick or Lewis (official A2A support) should be along shortly to help you get the problem sorted.

I think you might be running P3D on min PC specs , i thought P3D is for 64 bit systems for best results.

Re: P3Dv5 crashes at the end of loading
Hello,
can you please tell us further details about your exact system setup and addons used. The crashed reported is a P3D crash normally due to SODE from what I can see;
http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic ... 2&p=230854
https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/5888 ... 51-solved/
If you are a scenery SODE user you might need to adjust a few things to prevent the ucrtbase.dll crash in P3Dv5. If you are not a user that has SODE with there add-on scenery user let us know so we can try some other steps.
Other steps including
-checking your default flight is set to a default aircraft and in default scenery
-checking installation of B-17 was complete including Direct X9 components
-checking windows is activated + fully updated
checking windows .net frameworks etc are all installed/updated
thanks,
Lewis - A2A

Got rid of that error. Just have that original error now. P3D says it's the aircraft.

Re: P3Dv5 crashes at the end of loading
Hello,
did you add the line to your p3d cfg as stated in the two links I set in my first reply?
I am not sure what you have tried here, I did post several checks and things to try but it only looks like you replied to with a few answers. Please do check those links first as with those SODE sceneries it looks like an extra line is needed in your P3D cfg.
If the error still persists can you please post the error from the event viewer when P3D crashes so we can see if the file crashing has changed to help us pin point why on your system only something is causing the crash upon loading.
thanks,
Lewis - A2A
