New repaints for P3D5

Just wondering if we will get any new pbr repaints, cause all i can find is old stuff from FSX time.

Hey Arthur the B-17 is not a PBR model. PBR is in the model workflow not the repaint, so the repaint wouldn't matter as much anyway.

Hi Lewis,

So u mean that FSX legacy repaints and made nowadays are basically same quality and outlook ?

I have found most fsx repaints to have polished looking control surfaces even when painted olive drab, and one OD paint I tested I remember looking polished everywhere. I think the paint kit should've been updated to sort this out but it wasn't too hard to fix so it's not a big deal. This still means that the model isn't PBR it's just the way that p3d handles the reflections differently compared to fsx.

As He111 mentioned, there are some difference's but we tried to make them as little as possible to keep the compatibility to the hundreds of repaints already out there.
