Alabeo Shockwave lights configurations

Post by wildtomcat »

Hi flightsimmers,

here I am going to post my Shockwave Lights configurations for Alabeo aircraft.

Beginning with the DA-42 Twin Star:

[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0=9, 0.8 , 0.0 , 2.0 , fx_vclightaladacd
light.1=9,-1.0 , 0.0 , 2.0 , fx_vclightaladacd
light.2=5, 1.8 , 1.2 ,-1.3 , fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_22
light.3=5, 1.8 , -1.2 ,-1.3 , fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_22
light.4=6, 1.8 , 1.2 ,-1.3 , fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_22
light.5=6, 1.8 , -1.2 ,-1.3 , fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_22
light.6=3,-2.42 , 22.2 , 1.55 , fx_shockwave_navwhi
light.7=3,-2.55 ,-22.2 , 1.55 , fx_shockwave_navwhi

-Virtual cockpit lights now also for back passengers
-white navigation lights at wingtips because default red/green nav lights are only visible from aircraft´s front angle
-landing and taxi lights narrow_down_22 for avoiding riples on fuselage.

More to come from time to time.

As I couldn´t find almost no configs for Alabeo aircraft I´d be glad to see configs from other simmers for theese, too.

Regards
Stefan

Alabeo C177_Cardinal_II with fixed gear:

[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 4, 2.0, 0.0, 0.5, fx_vclightccssr
light.1 = 10, -3.0, 0.0, 1.00, fx_shockwave_vclight
light.2 = 3,-18.0, 0.0, 5.30, fx_shockwave_navwhi
light.3 = 3, 0.53, 18.0, 2.30, fx_shockwave_navgre
light.4 = 3, 0.54, -18.0, 2.30, fx_shockwave_navred
light.5 = 5, 7.7, 0.3, -1.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light_short
//light.6 = 5, 7.2, 0.3, -1.6, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_22

-virtual cockpit light for back passengers brighter than default
-nav lights bigger and better visible
-fuselage gets a light shimmer by bright white nav light (light.8)
-landing and taxi lights

Alabeo C177_Cardinal_II with retractable gear:

[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 4, 2.0, 0.0, 0.5, fx_vclightccssr

light.6 = 6, 7.8, -0.3, -0.9, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_22

-virtual cockpit light for back passengers brighter than default
-nav lights bigger and better visible
-no fuselage shimmer because of bad effect on gear bay
-landing lights only short

*****************************************************************************

Alabeo DA-40:

[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing

-landing, taxi, nav lights
-yellow steady recognition lights at wingtips (white nav lights too big)

*****************************************************************************

Alabeo PA-38 Tomahawk:

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 =10, 0.00, 0.00, 0.62, fx_vclightalapt
light.1 = 4, 0.00, 0.00, 0.62, fx_vclightalapt
light.2 = 5, 6.30, 0.00,-1.30, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_22
light.3 = 3,-17.10, 0.00, 5.05, fx_shockwave_navwhi
light.4 = 3, -0.32,-16.4,-0.40, fx_shockwave_navred
light.5 = 3, -0.32, 16.4,-0.40, fx_shockwave_navgre

Alabeo Cruz Pipersport:

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit
light.1=10, 0.0 , 0.0 , 0.0 , fx_vclightalapsc
light.2= 3, -0.44,-14.30, 0.00, fx_shockwave_navred
light.3= 3, -0.44, 14.30, 0.00, fx_shockwave_navgre
light.6= 3,-13.80, 0.00,-0.15, fx_shockwave_navwhi
//light.7= 5, 6.0 , -0.60,-1.5 , fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down
light.8= 5, 6.0 , -0.60,-1.5 , fx_shockwave_landing_light_short

-nav light coordinates from another forum, don´t remember exactly
-landing lights: I prefer fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down from FS9 version.
If you have that too, just copy from FS9 effects folder to FSX effects folder
and use lights.7 instead of lights.8

light.2 = 9, -8.0, 0.00, 2.50, fx_vclightcarscblue
light.3 = 6, -1.5, 0.00, -0.70, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_old

light.5 = 3, -9.8, 18.15, 1.60, fx_shockwave_navgre

-cockpit/cabin lights
-taxi light:
Important: edit panel.cfg or taxi lights still on when gears is retracted !!!
[Vcockpit01]
...
gauge02=Shockwave_Lights!SW Lights_taxi_gear, 1,1,1,1
-nav lights

No landing light effects changed because of default pulse light.

Have just been installing Shockwave lights in a few of my aircraft and found your configurations - they saved me a lot of work, thanks!
