Boeing B-29 Superfortress "DOC"
This is my first repaint of the B-29 and represents "DOC", which is currently being restored to flight by "The United States Aviation Museum". The plane is currently at the "Kansas Aviation Museum" where the restoration work is being performed.
You can find more info on "DOC" at http://www.b-29doc.com/ and http://www.desertusa.com/mag98/nov/stories/b29.html

Boeing B-29 Superfortress, Blank Textures with WWII and post WWII Roundel's
After searching the web for blank textures for the (WOP) B-29, I decided to try my hand at making my own. I used the (WOP) repaint by Eric Bramhall of the B-29 "Joltin' Josie" as my starting point for this project. I created my own texture blanks from his repaint, removing the nose art and tail markings but leaving the WWII roundel's in place. I then made the post WWII roundel's by simply adding the red line to them.
I hope you enjoy these textures, and thank you to both Eric Bramhall and David Green. I would not have been able to do this so easily if not for their previous work. Original Texture blanks by David Green. Original Repaint by Eric Bramhall (B-29 "Joltin' Josie").
