Hello

I cant seem to get the mixture to work for me. I have automixture turned off so I have to control the mixture. But everytime I try to lean it when the flying tip comes on to tell me to, I seem to be doing it wrong becasue the flying tip keeps coming on. Also, I have tried every mixture setting possible

Anyone have an opinion of how A2A's P-47 compares to Il-2's 1946 v4.11?

Reason I ask is there is a very heated (at times) discussion going on regarding the new overheat model for all aircraft in Patch v4.11. Some claim that most planes (including the P-47) overheat far too rapidly, others claim it's poor piloting. Given that A2A by all accounts have arguably the best FM, I was wondering if anyone has an opinion of the two?

Can you compare the two ? Hard for me. In a combat sim during a dogfight, engine heat is probably a secondary concern. Staying alive against the AI that's trying to kill you is my primary concern. I play both sims. For FSX the A2A team has them beat. Can you get the A2A quality type sim in a combat simulation ? Lets hope for that day :D
