i keep getting engine losing power

When I fly I keep getting message engine losing power not leaned correctly. What is wrong I go by the book for start take off and cruise. Also I get alot of backfire and black smoke from the exhaust

Just to clarify, this is for the P-51, and not the P-47, right?

no its on the p47 and after i get these messages it starts to backfire and puke out black smoke puffs

That almost sounds as though you are over-boosting, or have over-boosted the engine.

Edit- What I mean is, the black puffs of smoke is a sign that you may have damaged or broken the turbocharger.

Just a thought, did you mistakenly check the Auto Mixture box in your sim settings. I would clarify this first before seeking additional help.

double checked enable auto mixture is not enabled

Check the maintenance hangar and report what you read there please.

checked maintenance hangar report overall excellent condition no heat or detonation damage thats all

Do you read the manuals on all these aircraft that you are having trouble with.They are simulations of the real aircraft and not toys to jump in and fly like most of the flightsim aircraft.The manuals are essential reading.

I’d like to point out that you should disable flight tips. That being said, what are the conditions when this smoke bellows?
