WOP2 P51 for P3D?

Post by gtirob01 »

I know it is an old aircraft, but I have the WOP2 P-51 for FSX and have recently moved to P3d v3. I went to fspilotshop where I made the original purchase, but the only installer available was for FSX. Is there a way to download into p3d?

Thanks

Hello,

the old WOP2 Mustang was discontinued several years back before P3D was released.

We do have a software range for the P3D platform here on the A2A Store;

I don't have P3D but I understand from threads like this one that it is often possible to use FSX aircraft in P3D. I think the WOP2 Mustang would be a good candidate for this. Try creating a shell FSX folder on your desktop and installing the aircraft into it. (If succesful, try applying the update patch also.) Then you should be able to copy items from the subfolders over to the corresponding subfolders in P3D.

That said, I recommend you treat yourself to the P3D version of the A2A Mustang so that you can enjoy the benefits of Accusim and various advanced animations like A2A's new rain effects.
