VE

Post by rod55 »

Hi Pilots
as well as my VE Day stand to attention on the street this 11am, I've just flown Supermarine 308 and landed (well!!, maybe a bit of "wing-wobble") at Sywell EGBK (Northants, England) from Wolverhampton EGBO. Low cloud with variable visibility till 2000ft. Newly installed Orbx TerraFlora v2; skinny trees now appear bushier e.g. around airfields. Chose 'no headphones' and turned speaker volume up to get more roaring and excitement (and scare the lazy sunbathing neighbours); burning smell from the PC added to the atmospherics!

Bliss!

Thanks Rod. The Spitfire has some special something to it that sort of took a life of its own. It's very alive.
