Sunday, March 26th Spitfire flight

Post by DavidW »

For this flight I propose exercising our Spitfires' with a jaunt from Goodwood/Chichester (EGHR) to (RAF) Leeming (EGXE) taking in three suspension bridges as an added bonus.

We will start heading out westwards towards the River Severn where there are two bridges waiting to be flown under. Then we progress across country to the River Humber where there is another bridge to duck under. We then follow up the east coast for a while before heading inland towards Teesside aiport before turning towards our destination and journeys end.

Here is the SkyVector flight plan: Flight Plan

Meet at: 1830z for a 1900z departure.

Meet on: Digital Theme Park on JoinFS.

Comms through A2A Discord channel.

Start at: Goodwood/Chichester, EGHR.

Aircraft: Spitfire, Mark 1 or Mark 2 as preferred.

Local takeoff time: 0900.

Weather: Historical. However, the weather forcast indicates light rain but being the UK this is subjet to change. :)

Altitude at your own discretion.

Just prepared my Spitfire for this flight. Looks like a lot of fun! Absolutely zero entertainment, of course, but lots of fun. Spitfires over England. What could be better than that?
