Friday October 16th. Italian Tour Leg Three.

So onto leg 3 of the tour. We start in Naples, fly over Vesuvio and Pompei before heading out to Sorrento and the Island of Capri, famous as a favourite haunt for Hollywood A-listers back in the 1950's and 60's. After that it's back to the mainland and to one of the most picturesque parts of the trip, the Almalfi Coast. After the village of Almalfi we detour inland for a short loop through the Risarva Statale Valle Della Ferriere then back along the coast to Salerno. From here it's south through the Parco Nazionale del Cilento all the way down to Villa San Giovanni where we cross into Sicilia at Missina. From here it's West along the top of the Island to Palermo.
